Haven't heard anything since the change for previewing went in. So should I assume it works now?

no you shouldn't, especially when dealing with html tags. This assumes you've made no changes since this morning.

can you be more specific on what's wrong? I can't fix anything unless someone says what's wrong?

An example: you've created a post containing html tags and wish to preview it. finding everything to your liking, you hit 'post,' and everything's ruined. I didn't look at failed posts thoroughly enough to give you an accurate description of 'ruined', but that's one such bug.

Another...Changes aren't visible in nested previews (I.E. entering text, clicking preview, making more changes in the provided box, and clicking 'preview' again). I've only tested this with messages containing html code.

Agree with post #4 after my failed attempt with the preview post feature, I stopped using it.

that's interesting. the posting from preview is the same routine as regular posting now. I'll take another look.

I think I'll just keep trying to proofread my posts carefully and skip the preview function.

The proof function is greatly improved. Many many thanks. So far, I haven't found anything wrong with it.

Just today I was using the preview on one of my posts and the damn thing didn't work, it ruined my masterpiece. And how come there isn't any way of knowing how many characters a person has typed? I've been at the end of one of my posts and I start wondering if I've gone beyond the limit.

For plane text I've used the preview a couple of times now, and it works nicely. So thank you.

To the previous post, if you come out of I asume for you forms mode, and look below your writing you will see how many carictors you have left for typing

How do you come out of forms mode? Oh, nevermind, I just tried it: by switching from PC cursor to the jaws cursor. Thanks.

actually, to come out of the forms mode either you switch windows.... or just hit the pc cursor key (desktop--numpad plus, laptop--capslock plus semi colon). The preview works nicely for plain text posts, although i rarely review my posts, trusting my spelling (except on essays and such, of course).

I've checked it out with some html code and it seems to work pretty nicely.

I think I'm still having problems going to external links (links outside of the zone), but that could be my coding.

Anyway, I do think the proof function is greatly improved, and thanks for that.
